The Bunnings Warehouse remix caused absolutely unreal scenes at Peking Duk's car park rave

Who is the legend that took the tongs?

Peking Duk’s Bunnings Warehouse rave was an absolute ripper this weekend, and we’re straight-up keen for an NZ version ASAP.

ICYMI - The Aussie legends Peking Duk joined forces with DJs Whatsonot, Kaila, and a bunch of locals to host at an actual Bunnings Warehouse in Melbourne.

The unreal gig came about from Aussie producer Kaila, who created the absolute banger that is the ‘Bunnings Warehouse Kaila Remix’ on TikTok.

After the track went viral and captured the attention of both the Peking Duk lads and Bunnings, the rave was ON with 1,000 tickets sold out in just four minutes.

The Bunnings crew were on the tools cooking snags, and the mosh was full for what was easily the most epic 3-hour rave ever to exist.

Here are the top moments from the Bunnings Warehouse rave:

Bunnings Remix

Of course, the star of the show has to be the track that kicked the whole thing off!

Peking Duk dropped the viral banger, and the place lit up with LED rave sticks and phones, all set to capture the scenes.

The crowd nailing the iconic ‘do-do-ru-do-do-do’ bit from the jingle has to be the night's legendary moment.

And because one moment of glory just wasn’t enough, Kaila himself jumped on with Whatsonot to spin his viral track, and the crowd went feral!

On the tools

Aside from the classic saussie sizzle put on by the Bunnings crew, punters came armed with tools to celebrate the special occasion.

I couldn’t tell ya if these tongs were snagged at the snag station, or if they made the journey from home, but either way, the utensil stood out, reflecting the shine of the rave lights.

Kick ons

Like all great parties, they must continue. DJ Whatsonot rounded up a bunch of local acts for the kick-ons at Melbourne’s PICA industrial centre.

It quite genuinely might be the largest afters we’ve ever seen!

“Melbourne that Rave was biblical,” Peking Duk wrote on an Instagram recap.

The whole thing quite genuinely will be going down in the Aussie rave hall of fame. I don’t know if they could top that.

But if they bring it to NZ, I reckon we’d give it a fkn good run for its money!
