Growing up in small town New Zealand, electronic producer 33 Below, aka Jack Laven, started playing around with music software as a new creative outlet. Fast forward a couple of years and 33 Below is quickly becoming a familiar name in the vocabulary of electronic music fans around the world.
33 Below has quickly developed an international fanbase with the help of TikTok. After releasing viral bootlegs of hits from artists such as Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Billie Eilish and Drake, a whole new audience has fallen in love with 33's sound. He has also attracted the attention of some of his biggest musical influences via these bootlegs, including getting the call up to remix bass music legend Boombox Cartels track 'Fatal Attraction (feat. Reese LaFlare)'.
2022 see's 33 Below evolving his sound and pushing his mixed-genre sound to the front. From DnB to emotional UKG, 33 has been pushing the envelope and developing his sound over the past couple of years, which will be presented in the form of his debut EP 'Motions' due out on Thursday 27th October on Th3rd Brain Records.
'Keep You As A Memory' is the third single from the project. The track started off as a demo that NZ pop band, and close friends of 33, LA WOMEN had put together with the help of Josh Edmonds. After hearing the track Jack was instantly drawn to the vocals, and knew he could flip them into something special. The final outcome combines liquid DnB elements with an infectious vocal, demonstrating the ever versatile production that 33 Below fans have come to know and love.
