‘Sides Of You’ would be half the track it is if it wasn’t for the input of vocalist Tiana, a recommendation from a friend of BRIGSY’s that turned into the perfect compliment to the instrumental.
“I don't know how he did it, but when Brigsy sent the mix for this song I felt super nostalgic and quickly pinpointed inspiration from a past relationship I was in. I wrote this song about an individual drifting away in a relationship. As people, we are always evolving, learning, and changing, which is incredible, but I think a lot of us have been in a relationship where you have stayed stagnant and your partner has evolved and drifted away.
I also wrote about those frustrating emotions when you realize your partner is deciding whether to stay or leave, and you have no control. Hope you enjoy!!” - Tiana
Not only is BRIGSY arguably one of the nicest fellahs you’ll ever meet in the NZ electronic music community, he’s showing that he is a versatile and ever evolving producer, and talented one at that.
