Nothing says 'you don't know what's coming next' more than MESSIE and Fred Again's friendship.
At the start of March, MESSIE was just another DJ on the scene, submitting a mix for the chance to open for Fred Again's Coroglen Tavern gig.
In the mere months since MESSIE's been ticking off milestones left, right and centre with the support of her now best mate, Fred Again.
MESSIE joined Fred on stage at Auckland’s Spark Arena, opened for him at his 35,000-strong Perth show, played at the iconic Festival Glastonbury, and now, has released an official Fred Again remix… no biggy.
The remix of ‘ places to be’ seemingly dropped on Spotify out of nowhere, with the only tease being MESSIE’s earlier cryptic Instagram story which featured herself, and Fred Again sitting at a kitchen table.
The fast paced footwork/Jersey Club style spin on the original hits so hard. This wee number is set to become an absolute club staple.
Only 3 months ago she was telling George that Fred Again was keen on another meet up after the NZ shows.
“Fred brought up London a few times. I don’t know if he means catch up for coffee or go on a tour - I’m not really sure.”
