Fred Again to Nia Archives - The most jealousy-inducing sets from Reading and Leeds Festivals

“Honestly that was pure madness”

It’s that time of year again folks. Reading and Leeds Festivals have been in full swing. Getting a bit of the green eyed monster seeing all the mad Europe and UK festivals taking charge. Here are a few of our favourites that took to the stage over the weekend.

“What an entrance” indeed! Old mate Fred Again was captured by BBC while dropping his hit 2022 tune ‘Turn On The Lights again..’. As the lasers danced, the crowd let out a roar of anticipation before the music man did this tappy-tappy thing on his beat pad. Seeing that awesome atmosphere definitely got me a bit salty that I’m just here at work writing about the gig. Chairs Fred.

We also got to see the legends Pendulum rocking it out with one of my favourites ‘Tarantula’ and ‘Witchcraft’. The sheer skill of the band is unreal! That clip has me counting down the days till I can have a boogie at a summer outdoor festival.

Last but not least in my books, was Jungilist gal, Nia (I really wanna be her) Archives.

“[Nia’s] energy is infectious”

sums up the video well and truly.

I would have given my right leg to be in that mosh, skanking it out to the summer anthem ‘Baiana’.

For those who managed to pull through winter without buggering off for a Euro summer - I’m so proud of you. With spring officially next week and summer only 97 days away it's time to start gearing ourselves up for another epic NZ summer just over the horizon. Get me a cold one and a new pair of festival sunnies because I’m in a festive mood team.
