There’s nothing quite like two local legend DJs teaming up to create some absolute fkn magic.
George Nights resident and NZ festival circuit mainstay Pixie Lane and Kazi Flip started a YouTube channel after watching a DJ set at a BBQ and thought “why not create something of our own?”
The duo have also taken their sets to some pretty out-the-gate places like MOTAT’s Aviation Hall, which Pixie described as “one of the coolest sets I’ve ever done.” I bet you’ve never seen a DJ set surrounded by antique planes and helicopters eh?
Kazi Flip also plays live percussion which is something you won’t often see at most DJ sets. Why? “It’s really hard to pull off” according to Pixie. “But we’ve figured it out and we’re so proud of how it turned out”. You can see for yourself that these two are pure magic together.
The sets are also filmed live - so what you see is what you get. “I’m only 4 '11" so I had to stand on a little platform to reach the decks” Pixie explained. “At one point, I even fell off, but the team covered it up like pros!”

The pair are also dropping unreleased music through the sets. Talk about the gift that just keeps on giving.
When it comes to this new venture they say they’re “just getting started,” and if their first release is anything to go by we know we’re in for an absolute treat.
